Low range problem.

In post 14853 (20/7) I sought suggestions as to why I might be having trouble engaging low range in my 80 series Standard. Have solved the problem. Nothing serious. Just needed a bit of CRC and a bit of persuasion to do what it should do. Has freed up and seems OK now.Thanks to those who replied. There are many helpful people on this
forum.

Terry, you should slid it into 4wd every week to keep it all working.

Just an aside. My
old truck has to be reversed at least 10 metres before it will release from 4wd mode. Then one has to drive forward at least 100 metres before the hubs will unlock. Cantankerous, eh? :-)
