Place Comment: Calingiri Caravan Park

The good news for travellers through Calingiri is that the Shire of Victoria Plains will shortly commence (early 2026) the construction of a new Caravan Park and Short Stay accommodation facility on 1.57Ha of vacant land at the corner of Edmonds St and Lambert Crescent, on the North side of the town.
The Shire has funds approximating $4.5M allocated to carry out the work. There are five housing units planned for construction on the site, along with the new Caravan Park.
This new Caravan Park will be vastly bigger than the old Calingiri Caravan Park, which has previously produced reviews from travellers, complaining about the inadequate amount of room there.
