Does anyone know why Toyota chose to install tubes inside the tubless Dunlop Roadgripper tyres as standard from the factory? The rims arn't split like the base models so could the tube be replaced with just a valve stem?

I think you will find the tyres were tube type, for the split rims, which they fitted to the RV rims, so the tyres needed tubes, not the rims.

I cant see why you couldnt fit tubeless tyres and valve stems, but id concerned, do one first and check it.
