Euro 6 will yet again change things, Manufactures Nightmare.

Isuzu in the firing line with their 3.0l engine.

Sadly its just more cost in my opinion.

Cheers Axle.

Makes you wonder if Isuzu are aware of what is happening and thats why they have introduced the new 2.2 Diesel that is Euro 6 compliant and in time may drop the 3 litre engine, so time will tell

Of Course Isuzu knows what is going on. Long before anyone in OZ will know. The reason smaller capacity engines were introduced in the VW Amarok was for that reason. This compliant thing has stuffed California.

Quote "How so RMD?"

Because the regulators and manufacturers talk to each other directly. The regulators advise what they are doing so the manufacturers are aware of what is about to hit them.

Nomadic Navara...I was interested to know why it had stuffed California. These regs affect many places through out the world yet RMD has chosen California as the place that is stuffed...I,m just interested in how.

That's all part of the plan to phase out diesels probably starting with road driven vehicle's.
Reminds me I have to get my 79 Sunbird running this year while there not to focused on old petrol engines with minimal emission controls. The future is in the past for the moment haha.
