Hey, has anyone done the Oombi track in the last year?
Any information appreciated .

I drove Home Valley to Oombulgurri Community privately with 2 other vehicles in 2006 in the OKA (while the Community was still operating) and we also came into
Oomari from the west that some year after spending a week exploring Carson Station the year before.
Some of the toughest driving and most spectacular country in Australia.
I understand that you can not drive this track except via a tag along now. I understand that there are a few people still at the Community.

Go to YouTube and see 4WD 24/7, All 4 Adventure and Top of Down Under. They have all done it and the continuation which is the Carson Tk in the last few years. Peter's pix show the size of the huge boulders quite
