Morning all - I am selling a fridge on eBay - an old 240v / 12v / gas thing.

It is a FINCH brand, and was wondering if anyone had heard of this before? A couple of people have asked, and I honestly don't know where it is from, or any other details.

Can anyone out there help me out?

Chris

I think they were and still are made by Electrolux. If it's in good working order you should get a few bob for it. They start ar about $600 new. Go check one out at a cmping store to see how yours compares.

Its called a "3 way fridge". Runs on 240 volt, 12 volt and gas (the latter being the best performer). The earlier ones were just fridges but the latest ones can freeze.
3 ways don't have compressors so rely on lower ambient temps to run well - in high heat levels, they struggle a bit. If yours is an early one, yet runs very well, someone who only traveled in mild to cooler climates might pay a max of $200 in my view. All things being equal, if you want a good performer for warm to hot zones, would pay to buy the latest model. 3 ways are a good option if you don't want a compressor fridge draining your 12 v battery supply.

how much are you looking for this fidge. It looks in good nick. I would'nt mind it but at 25kg's or so postage would cost alot.
Just a questions, does i get passed in if it only reaches 20 or $30.

No reserve, so it gets sold to the highest bidder...

I sold my Chescold 3 way fridge (similar to finch) in the trading post for $200. It was 20 years old.
Heaps of calls and it went first day.
