Link to Google Play goes to Microsoft store instead. Looks like you have a system that requires the user to have an app to get the redirection.

The button links should only be used if you are using the appropriate device - ie. from an Android phone or tablet click the Google Play button link. The app is not available for download to a Windows device so you wouldn't click that button to Google Play from your computer, which is what i suspect you've done.

Actually, you're mistaken, Google play allows for installing to an android device from a Windows web browser, and indeed allows for installing to multiple devices eg. phone and tablet. I find this more convenient and thus a link directly to Google Play makes more sense as it will work in all cases.

So, Bagpipes, you are saying you can sit at your PC running Windows and install something on your Android tablet sitting next to you. Is there something I'm missing here?

Yes, though I do not need the device 'next' to me. Go to google play on a Windows browser, it's easy to install on multiple devices.
