Deejay
Good morning travellers.
I have stressfully installed a new head unit into my car and whilst I would like to install the Traveller maps to this unit, I can't due to technical issues (which are apparently being worked on).
For the interim, I have my old Hema maps on an old Samsung Tablet.
The new unit does have a GPS thingy in it?
Is it possible to take the maps off the Tablet and install them directly into the new head unit?
Maybe using a USB?
Is there an alternative/easier way?
I know next to nothing about computers or anything digital so any plain English help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Deejay.

Hi Deejay,
Whilst you will get some answers on the
forum, you are better logging this question on the help desk. David or Michelle will be able to definitively answer your questions.

Hi David & Michelle,
That is not how I read this. He is having trouble installing the Traveller Maps to his new head unit. In the interim, he is using Hema Maps on an old Samsung tablet.

Perhaps Deejay can clarify… I read it that he has a hardware problem with the headunit that is being investigated by supplier hence he cant use Traveller on it til thats fixed. His question relates to using his Hema maps currently on his Samsung but he wants to use on the headunit. That is not an ExplorOz issue. But I may be misinterpreting it.
