Just a query for anyone that is using a SPOT Gen 3 while travelling.
For many years now I have had my SPOT linked to my tracking as part of my profile that family and friends have found very helpful when we are on the road and know where we have been and where we are.
A couple of years ago when we were up un
Bundaberg in Queensland for some reason it stopped tracking, and I contacted David who found that SPOT had done something, he made some adjustment his end and back to working perfect again.
Now recently the same is happening again, nothing recording in ‘My Tracking’, yet when I go to
the SPOT app, it is working perfectly, showing where I have been.
Before the usual brigade jump in, yes I have contacted the Help Desk, Michelle said she could not see anything wrong and yes, my Firmware is up to date with my SPOT.
Even last week we did a short trip of over 300 kilometres, nothing showing on my tracking and then saying it has not moved which is completely wrong.
So the question is now, if you are using a SPOT Gen 3, is it recording your journeys in the ‘My Tracking’

David has just checked
the SPOT receiver on ExplorOz and data is streaming in from multiple users. There appears no issue there. We do acknowledge there was a time out for all Tracker users over the past 2 days but that's all - and we just rebooted the server and these are all now syncing too. Stephen, we took at look at your specific device (ends in ...6p8nsS) according to the Public Tracking and it shows no data since 16/3. Is that what you expected? We can pick up back up from your previous Help Desk ticket - send a reply to reopen it and David says he may be able to give you some further things to look at on your end.

We did another 300 kilometre drive last Wednesday 31st March that started at 8.15 am annd not home until 6.15 pm and again nothing recorded in my tracking, yet showing perfectly on
the SPOT app.
I did everything that you suggested but seems a big mystery.
