Whilst in
Broome for a few months we didn't use EO Traveller on our passenger dash mounted ipad.
However from
Broome through to
Manning Gorge on the GRR road we used it again without any issue.
Yesterday (22/5/26) however, between
Manning Gorge &
Drysdale River Station we found that the ''zoom function' could no longer be zoomed higher than 9 & the numbered '
Places' could not be expanded.
On my wife's ipad (not the navigation ipad) which had been updated before leaving
Broome there was no issue.
This has been resolved after we had internet access last night & updated EO Traveller. on the navigation ipad. Once done it was instantly back to normal.
What I don't understand i sthat between
Broome &
Manning Gorge (about a week) this 'restricted zoom' had not been an issue at all - until yesterday. Could it be that some change was made yesterday which resulted in this?
Not a problem as all is now
well, just interested in why it might have happened when it did & not before?

Did a
forum search and found this reply from Michelle re level 9 restriction.
You haven't downloaded the HiRes map pack then. When offline, if you only have LoRes installed you only get to Level 9.
Maybe your ipad had a hiccup and doing an update reloaded for you.

Ta Dick L.
A 'hiccup' sounds probable, but how it would be possible I can't figure.
Hi Res was installed & between
Broome &
Manning Gorge over the course of a week we were getting full zoom. When I updated I didn't add any map packs.
