Not sure if this is making news around Australia, but many areas of South Australia are now in the grips of locusts, some areas in plague proportions.
We spent 2 weeks recently in the Riverland and they are in plague proportions all through there and other reports of them thick coming in from
Broken Hill into South Australia and widespread at the moment in the
Flinders Ranges areas.
Don’t say you have not been warned.

We encountered them between Waikerie and
Renmark, headed out to the Customs House and absolute the road was moving with them and when we came home, they were all the way from
Renmark to Cadel.
Had to was the front of the car 3 times when we were away

Over the last month or sovwe've travelled down through NSW, across western Victoria and then into SA to Victor Harbour,
Adelaide and then up and around to the Eyre peninsuala where we currently are and have seen none since around the NSW/Victorian border, Definately none in SA but we've been sticking to the coast mostly a;though we went inland around most of
Adelaide.
It's great to see SA so green but we're a bit over the cold wet weather which has been the majority.
