G'day everyone!
Just joined the
forum. I've been fascinated by the Aussie outback and the 4x4 touring culture for a while now.
I don't have a massive rig just yet, but I'm currently researching a lot about towing setups, keeping weights legal (GVM/GCM), and staying safe on the tracks.
Looking forward to reading all your travel logs, checking out the rig builds, and learning from the veterans here.

Hello Omkar,
My wife and I are wandering around outback Queensland at the moment and are really pleased to see so many people travelling.
They are in every thing from simple set ups in a car and swag with minimal cooking gear to people in $150,000 caravans being towed by cars that probably cost just as much.
We are in a Jayco caravan and a D-Max but have progressed through 2 man tents, swags, camper trailers and camper vans.
With careful planning, research and getting good gear you will be able to get to some fantastic
places.
Were are you located? People might be able to suggest area's for you to travel too to have a look at how different people travel.
You can spend a lot or a little to achieve the same thing.
