Hi All
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good brand jiggle syphon? General consensus is that the hose needs to be of good size (19mm at least and flexable). I'm thinking a transparent hose would also be beneficial. Reviews of what is available online aren't encouraging.
Thanks
Lyndon

I would say that they are all much the same. I bought one cheap off ebay a couple of years back & now would prefer to buy one I could hold in my hands first. The ebay cheapie was old stock & had developed a kink in it's original packaging. In use the kink was a permanent problem, to the extent that it really wasn't very useful at all.
I still have & carry my half inch one that I've had for
well over a decade but my 'go to' if fuel transfer is needed these days is a rechargeable lithium battery powered (recharges via a USB C cable) transfer pump, which certainly costs significantly more than a jiggle hose, but suits my purpose better, making fuel transfer on our setup *much* easier. Empties a 20 litre jerry into our fuel
tank, whilst sitting on the ground in less than 2 minutes. I believe one battery charge is good for up to 300 litres! I very recently had need to use the pump for the first time since we left home almost 18 months ago, it hadn't been charged since then but it just switched on & did the job without issue.
