Hi. I have just returned from our big trip, which included the CSR and the Gibb. When I got home and uploaded the track file, I found a segment where in less than 12 hours I had travelled 266,460km with a maximum speed of 11,301 km/hr. Looking at the track I had travelled halfway around the world and back about 8 times.
Is there any way to edit out these bad points? I would have to lose this record to bad / corrupt data.
Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill
Open the track log and select the segment
The edit button is in the top right hand corner of the map screen
You can move or delete individual points,
Hope that helps

Have you ever thought about using OziExplorer and a standalone Bluetooth GPS receiver
You can set up Ozi to record what ever distance between points from 10 metres and up and you will never ever get that issue running Ozi
Just a thought if you require reliable and accurate GPS recording data.

I have given up using ExplorOz to log tracks. I just returned from six weeks in the Northern Territory. I have both an Android and an Apple device, and ExplorOz was the only app that gave me frequent issues — losing satellite connection, not showing my position, failing to record parts of the track, or simply freezing and requiring a restart. I use Memory-Maps for All, which is free, and the HEMA 4WD map pack (one-off purchase, no subscription), as
well as GuruMaps or Pocket Earth for low-cost vector maps. All of them are very reliable for track logging.

Hi Stephan F2,
Was Exploroz on the same device as any of the other mapping programs that did not lose signal?
Macca.

Take a look at the first video Macca, it clearly shows that to be the case :-(

The little triangle / arrow thing on the bottom left corner is the gps lock
If it is white , then it is off, allowing you to move the maps away from your current position. good for forward planning whilst your on the move.
If it is
orange it will keep your current location in the center of the screen. you can still move the map but it will re-center itself in a few moments.
It appears to be off in your video.
