Driving today when i heard a bang came from the back of car now car starts but wont ddrive,reverse or go in first or secong gear car revs but wont go anywhere any info would be a great help or am i up for dollars

Bloke in our club had this at the property at
Easter. The oil lines had blocked, and the whole thing was fubar. Had a complete rebuild, with the improved valvebody, and lockup kit installed for about $4000.
What state are you in? if in Melb, try KB Autos in Berwick, they helped me out in the past.

check the pinion on the rear diff. See if the tailshaft spins when trying to drive. or just see in nutural if the tailshaft turn by hand all the way around.

You can try putting it into 4WD Hi range and see if it will move, if it does then the problem is probably in the rear axle

Yeah Michael is right, you've gotta find out if it's the gearbox, diff or drive shaft/uni's etc.
If the bang came from the rear of the car, hopefully it's not a gearbox, but only a little exploring will find that out.
