Tracker is part of our paid "Membership" optional extras because live tracking generates additional ongoing data, storage and server costs. Membership fees helps cover those costs and also includes a range of other enhanced data features used by members beyond the standard app functions.

For your second question — yes. Auto-sync across multiple devices is a standard Traveller feature. Your personal Places, Routes, Track Logs, Notes and Folders are stored under your ExplorOz user account, so any devices running Traveller and signed into the same account will automatically sync that content between them.
