Hi there has anyone changed a clutch on a Nissan GQ ST 1992 (RB30)
I've got a big garage , lots of
tools and I recently changed the water pump.
Thanks for your help.

Gearbox is VERY VERY VERY (VERY) HEAVY...
Unless you have a lift kit, or a lot of clearance under the car, as in 35in tires, get it done.
we have done a mates TD42 and nutha mate of his RB30. GQ was insanely heavy, and RB was really a bitch to get back in... Just the angles, and clearance issues.
You can do it, but for the hassles, lost fingers, knuckles, and bleeding, I would pay
YMMV

G'day,
AS above, they (gearbox, tfr case) are very heavy, and difficult to handle (you NEED ANOTHER JOINT BETWEEN ELBOW AND WRIST!), so I had
mine done by dealer 18 months ago, only about $450,
well worth it, also spend the extra and upgrade to "extreme" clutch kit....
well worth it.
If you have to do it yourself, get a few mates around and a lifter....
