Just switched on my computer and started interent explorer and cannot find my 'Favourites' List - seems have an empty list. Does anyone have any ideas how to restore it or find the file again. Have got backups but hoping there is any easier solution to this problem.

Brad,
Favourites are located in "C:\Documents and Settings\user-name\Favorites"
If you accidentally logged in as a different user you wont have them in your profile. Just log out and then log in as the correct user. If you HAVE logged in correctly and this folder is empty then its time for the backups.
Personally I find I end up with so much rubbish in my favourites that I'd just forget about restoring and gradually build them up again.
Luck....
John
