Could anyone give me the road distance from Innamincka to Cameron Corner via the Strzelecki track and also via what I think is the Bore Track.

Thanks for the help!

Hi timg

Sorry I can not remenber the exact distance, but I think it is around 400 km's if you go onto www.travelmate.com.au you should be able to work out the distance.
We were only up that way 5 weeks ago and the country is beautiful . The roads are some of the best dirt roads I have driven on, ( mainly because they are graded regularly by Moomba.

Hope this helps. Have a great trip

Patrick

About 260 km via old track & 249 via Bore track.
Take the Bore track. You have to pay $10 per car at Bollards Lagoon, but it is well worth it as the veiws are beaut

Ross,
Don't think I'll use that site for my trip planning.
We did the Bore track in 6 hours with lots of photo stops for the wildflowers 6 weeks ago

Use to live at Tibooburra we use to use the Old Strez and it was approx 225 Km approx 3 hrs for locals (drive like idiots), should be able to do it in 4hrs but track conditions constantly change. The Bore track has more rock and my preference for scenery was the Strez. But then again I thought the most scenic and interesting trip is going thru Warri Gate, Naryilco which is one of the Kidman properties and then up to Nappa Merrie and Innaminka. But everyone has to see Cameron Corner.

Would you believe there was a local in Tibooburra that drove the 340Km between Tib and Broken Hill in 2hr 15mins (he did not survive past 25yrs), it was quite regular for locals to do it in 3hrs 45mins, but generally 4 hours. I know once after rain it took me 8 hours in the old Sigma but most of that was side ways.

If you need any info on that area and travelling times contact NSW National Parks at Tibooburra as they have all the details on current road conditions and times to complete routes.
