Nissan GU snorkle what does it look like.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the genuine nissan snorkle for the GU cab chassis is the short or long version. Ie is it like the one for the GQ goes all the way down to the front of the guard or like the safari ones on the GU wagons that comes out near the windscreen.

It depends on what motor not so much which model...
It goes thru the guard where the supposedly easiest channel to the airbox.

I have a safari and it the duct goes through the inner guard instead of the outside.

The genuine nissan is an airtec and it goes down the side of the guard.

I think it only goes down the side of the guard to less than half way towards the headlight......whereas the old GQ (4.2) went all the way along the side and then straight thru the mud guard into the air box. The Safari unit goes thru just below the "A" pillar, near the radio aerial.
