Does anyone know if you can access Kingfisher
Camp from Hells
Gate?

We went from Kingfisher
Camp to Hell's
Gate in 96, it was a bit challenging finding the right tracks to take but we made it o.k.

The turn off is to the right not far before the Doomaagee Community, there is a
sign on the edge of the road.
The track is marked all the way to Kingfisher.

Yes, weve travelled from Hells
Gate to Kingfisher (nice spot) through
Bowthorn station and all the way to
Lawn Hill NP to Mt Isa.
Its a lovely drive, and the lady at
Bowthorn station loves a cuppa and a chat.

Did you know that this "nice lady" is Kerry McGinnis and she has written a book about her life called "Pieces of Blue" which I bought and have read. It's a good outback story about her life as the daughter of a drover - really makes you see the hardships of life in these days! Worth a read.

She has also written a follow up called Heart Country which is also a good read. I believe there is another one coming out soon.
The road in must be OK Glenn as I found my way in and out to
Lawn Hill without getting lost. LOL

Will certainly go from Hells
Gate to Kingfisher/
Bowthorn, then onto
