Call me a whinger if you like but I had to get this off my chest... I'm kinda hoping it was a once off, but I reckon I had a better meal once when I accidentally ate the plastic bag my ration pack came in. Stopped there Thursday night on my way back from
Darwin, the lamb chops sounded good with plenty of chips and a salad... just to make me feel better about the copious amounts of crap I was destined to ingest along the way. Unfortunately I reckon a pair of polyairs would have been easier to cut, let alone chew and the chips, each one was hand whittled out of a boab tree. If anyone is interested, the best meal was at the BP at
Tailem Bend... Burger with the lot... So impressed was I that I followed it with a chicken fillet burger, not a drop of fat on my fingers, tasted great and very reasonable price. They also had the best coffee... VERY important stuff on a power drive.

How many trucks were parked out the front?
I have found this is the best indicator of food quality !

No trucks outside but there was a funny little guy inside who had a joey(as in the giant grasshopper type) in a backpack.
