Hi Brent,
There have been a few GU's with roof linings that rattle. Give the rear lining a bit of a tap and see if this is the noise you hear. If its the cause, its a warranty issue.
Cheers

Brent,
Check the plastic cover for the fuel filler necks (right rear mud guard) with wind gusts some rattle and because they rattle against the inner wall, it sounds as if it was inside.

It could also be the
barn doors, ours has done it since new & it drives me nuts.

Brent,
I had the same problem, took it back to Nissan Dealer, all they did was tape some sponge between number plate and body of car, rattle gone.
try it

4 things to check, a couple have already been mentioned.
1. The spare
tools and jack in the RHS comaprtment near the tail light - wrap 'm up tight.
2. The spare wheel carrier on the back door - give it a bump.
Mine got a bad squeek from metal fatigue.
3. The tow bar/ball insert if its removeable.
4. The top catch on the RHS rear door.
Mine chewed through the plastic coating on the D keeper part that the catch grabs. I re wrapped this with thin hard rubber.

Hi Brent , I have bought around 15 GU patrols and they have all rattled in the rear , It has mainly been the
barn doors , but I was able to adjust every single one of them . Takes a bit of fidling around , but you can get them right .
