I am looking for a reasonable second hand camper- trailer - prefer off road with kitchen. Something like the "
Camp-let trailer style.
They seem to be as rare as hens teeth. Does anyone know what the
Camp-let trailers are like??

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware they were plasTic windows!
What I like about the style is the swing out kitchen which is inside the living area, with no need to erect an awning.
I live in
Townsville and we can get some wet and windy weather at short notice during the wet season. It would be handy to have all under one roof.
Don't need a fridege, but the stove/sink/
water in the kitchen unit would make one night camps simple while on transit. We don't see too many campers up here on display - see quite a few passing through on their way to the Cape!

Must agree with PJD, I also have a Cameron Canvas camper.
It has dome many outback trips in areas of reasonbly rough terrain, ie, Len Beadell tracks,
Arkaroola, etc.
We are also taking it through the Kimberleys next year via the GRR without any hesitation.
It is a solid trailer, and I also have a kitchen.
This kitchen can be covered with the use of the annexe which gives us quite a good, and large extra living area that is weather proof.
Have a look on the web Pelbo, the offroad trailers are almost limitless.
Regards,
Geoff.

Thanks Geoff
I have searched the web for some time. Yes, there are quite a few new ones out there. Unfortunately there does not seem to be too many used ones and what are there are either in
Perth , SA or
Melbourne! Bit to far to trvel to have a look at!
I only need a used one for two years, as I am retiring early and buying a van to spend the next 5-10 years touring around Oz, where my van will be a base to explore further.
