The planner works out your trip budget, total distances, daily distances, fuel requirements and costs,fuel consumption figure and converts MPG to Lt/100km to Lt/km, and a few other bits and pieces.

Yes it would be easier but I don't have anywhere to post it. And as it's a one-of thing I couldn't be bothered setting anything up.
BTW. If I wanted to collect email addresses I could do it a lot easier than spend 40 or 50 hours putting a spreadsheet together.

These sort of utilities do seem popular from time to time! You could have a collection of them as a subsection in the trip planning section for download. Maybe call it "useful software" or something.

BTW... to make it work properly you need to save it to your computer then open it in Excel. It won' t work properly in a web browser.
