Just to jolt everyone away from 4WD for a while, and after talking with Mungo about the blues (see Willem's post no 15796) I wondered how many forumites play music around the campfire? Make music that is, playing tapes and CD's doesn't count. Playing an instrument along with a tape does count 'cause that's what I do. (I can't always find a blues guitarist when I want one which is a damn shame!)
Cheers,
Camper

I go away to get away from noise of suburbia.
Theres 3 PITA's at our club property, that always jump to the campfire and screach like run over cockatoos.
Annoying as hemmys

I am afraid that my blues music seems to annoy a lot of people. The missus is a classical person and screws her nose up as I increase the volume to get with it :-)
Sometimes I take the guitar with me but of late haven't found anyone interested in a singalong...maybe I am tooooooo out of tune...need quite a few Muscats to get the voal chords chirping in harmony. Other people want to sit around the
camp fire and talk nonsense(crap) LOL
Maybe you and I should get together and have a jam session!!

Like the idea of a jam session. Step aside Byron Bay, here comes the (INSERT SUITABLY REMOTE BUSH LOCATION) Outback Blues Festival...
