Ok gurus
I've searched the archives with no result. Trying to update my pics. Reduced to < 50kb and 300 pixels wide with this result.
So where do I go from here??
Cheers

Truckster knows of a program.
I use photofinish, you can download a trial for the net and just reduce the size of th picture until it reaches 50k, keeps the quality. You don't need a great whopping photo to post because it'll be small anyway!

Download Kazaa lite and install it, then search it.. 100's of hits on everythign
or www.packetnews.com
but to use packetnews you need MIRC installed.
YMMV

if not mail them to me, I'll resize them here and mail em back to you.
Like the one you have up there at moment, about 1x1pixel!!

Roscoe - I downloaded your pic and its resolution is set to 2400 pixels per inch. I have Photoshop on board (work with it, but as s self-taught hacker). What we/I do is....1. Open pic from the cam and check that its in RGB mode. 2. Adjust resolution to 72 pixels per inch. 3. Crop to required size (as mentioned on Dave's specs). 4. Save as a jpeg. 5. Upload.
You should have the same functions in whatever application you are using for your pics. If the above is set up prior to upload, the pic goes on board one to one. Seems to me that Dave has the uploader set to 72ppi and your pic got resized by his system.

I can't see what your problems is, piccie looks fine for what it is.
Only improvement I could make is to trade that green/
grey blob in on a Pajero.
Hahaha
It is Friday after all.

(Me I use Paint
shop pro)

Willie
Offered a small report a short while back, but nothing broke or fell off so didn't have anything to moan about.
All in all a top trip. Spent about 4 weeks from
Cairns back to
Chillagoe and still ran out of time to see everything. Next time I'll have to do less croc wrestling I s'pose.
Cheers
