Just thought Id have my say on the Isuzu MU. I have owned one for 3 years now and towed my van up to Cape Keraudren from
Perth every year. Then off comes the car and its out for a spot of Mud Crabbing traversing the mud flats or fishing traversing the beaches or rock climbing.
I have to say that the MU is one of the most capable little vehicles I have ever come across. I got a new job 10 weeks ago and I hadnt driven my MU for 8 of those weeks. I had driven every type of 4WDs imaginable in that time as I sell Used commercials. On stepping into the MU for the first time in 8 weeks I had a certain uncertainty as to how I would view the car having driven all these other vehicles. But after about 20 seconds in the car and on press on the accelerator and the 3.1 Turbo Diesel in that short wheelbase convinced me I had made the right decision 3 years ago!!!!
To all you MU owners, I congratulate your choice in vehicle. Not many people know about them but I befuddles me as to why Holden didnt bring these over from Japan and not the South American built Frontera.
Cheers
and happy travelling.

Leroy its far better than a frontera..........the SWB Frontera came with at two litre 4 cylinder petrol engine. The MU is turbo diesel powered and also has 4 wheel disks.......ABS.........Climate Control......etc etc etc.........The frontera is nothing like the MU.........build quality of the MU is exceptional in comparasin to the Frontera.........I know I sell all of em!!!!
Cheers
