G'day all...

Just got a Pee Wee 50 for the kids, albeit an old one. Can't seem to find a second hand manual anywhere(new one $79), just want to know whether the 300ml on the gearbox case includes the oil in the drive shaft? I drained the gearbox and only got 200ml out and was wondering if the drive shaft has a seperate drain(can't see an obvious one).
If anyone out there has a manual they no longer need, I'd be happy to buy it.

300ml on sidecase would be the capacity of the gearbox. The filler directly above the 300ml stamp.

The shaft is probably included. Being a 2 stroke, they dont need much, as the engine is done by the injection, and the only things lubed bottom end/gears.

check ebay for manuals, they do come up.

Thanks Truckster... never had a two stroke before, let alone a strange little beasty like the Pee Wee, had a good fiddle and got the injection sorted but wasn't sure about the rest.

The main issues with them are lack of maintance.. most parents just hand them to the kid.

Wheelbearings and forkseals are common issues.

They do hold their value too... Lots of demand for them around xmas. but do be careful, the bacon WILL bust kids having fun, I think the cops call having fun a 1308 - Smiling in Public. its not allowed.

I learnt the hard way about the "Smiling in public" felony... We've got 20acres near avoca so the littlins can smile it up all they like.
