We are planning to travel from
Port Augusta,
Roxby Downs, the
Oodnadatta. Mt Dare, Simpson dessert, then down the
Birdsville. Apart from
Port Augusta, can we purchase gas anywhere? WE are trying to calculte petrol requirements as
tank is small. Thanks for any info.

Type ALPGA into google. That has all the sites in Oz that sell LPG and trip planner with distances etc.

Hello Steve & Glenda. Yes, no gas anywhere north, definitely not in
Birdsville. Steve, had 10 mls rain two nights ago, temp 7 degrees right now - freezing wind yesterday, roads all drying out
well - at least we shouldn't have a dust storm for the big day Friday and Saturday.!! LOL
Fine and sunny but expected to be very cold (our very cold not yours) for the next few days. R.
