Anyone had any experience with 'Klamp-It' type wheel locks, quality etc.
Thinking they could be a bit bulky to carry but pretty reasonable cost wise. ($269)
To secure a camper trailer. A decent chain & locks will cost more.

To stop the honest thief IMO, $19.95 for the key at Supercheap. (4" angle grinder)

Friend of
mine uses one for that purpose . .. locking up his CT.
Secures the trailer , but doesn't secure the contents.

Hey John C, That would make some noise at speed !!! and you wouldn't have to carry chains!!! . Anyway, if you have lock it onto your wheel to stop someone stealing your Klamp-It, just leave the Klamp-It at home..... LOL

Hi John,
Use it for a couple of months in the
carpark, demand payments to release, then it would have paid for itself. LOL
Regards

Hi John C,
Spent about $269 to get one taken off my wheel in the UK. Wife parked under a
sign saying 'No
Parking Offenders Will Be Clamped' - but there is really no need to bring back those memories!
Agree with previous post that it will only stop an honest thief.

Hi John,
As said above, its a lot of $ to stop an honest thief.
I use a coupleing COP $29 this site & a motor bike combination lock around wheel & axel. Wont stop the real thief, but it may slow him down long enought for me to take propper aim
