HI fellas,
I have a 97 2.8 Hilux and have been given some prices for some tyres. Size 31x10.5. Brands I have been quoted on are Cymec, Pirelli Scorpion and Bridgestone.
The Hilux is my work vehicle plus I use a bit of 4WD if I go fishing or just in the paddock at home. Therefore not really interested in BFGs or Coopers. I use BFGs on my Series 80 cruiser which is used for towing horsefloats etc
Can someone give me some advice on the above and maybe some mileage figures.
Thanks.

getting a fairly good run out of kelly safari awr from tyre power at the moment in the same size should be competitively priced with the brands you have mentioned

PS: We were told the Pirellis weren't good by our tyre guy but I couldn't back that up.

I'd go the Bridgestone 604V Desert Dueller, got 83,000km on my hilux a few years ago in that size.
Cheers Peter

Got the Pirellis on wifes pathy, they are great. Have only been off the tar once, and they were not bad for what you pay.
Cant say on Klms, only had few mths.

Always remember, tire bloke will shoot down tires he
1) doesnt stock
2) doesnt make $$ out of
3) will always try and flog whats in stock.

Good luck.
