Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference, why would you want to swap?

Mosaic has all of Oz in one piece which is convenient but introduces errors due to the impossibility of representing the curved surface of the earth in one big flat graphic. Mapsheets breaks it up into lots of maps, which is more accurate because the curvature of the earth matters less ovber small distances, but can be inconvenient when planning trips across map boundaries.
I have the latter, and find that Oziexplorer's mapswitching buttons reduce the inconvenience to a minimum.
