Much has been said about Cruiser Oil on here before. If you check the archives I am sure you will find even more about it.

i am useing cruiser oil and find it to be ok. check 16002 post also as there is good advice (maybe more confusion) there also. i suppose that what it all boils down to is that you go on reccomendations and see if they are suitable for your veh as for some reason or other the same oil in same type veh in same circumstances will give different results. just do your log your data and compare the different products.

just put some of this in my TD Disco. Interestingly, even though the Synforce Cruiser Oil looks quite low viscosity (and is supposed to give increased power as a result), I found that it actually seemed to provide greater resistance in the motor. My existing oil was 7,500K old, but if anything I would have thought it would have been higher viscosity due to sludging effect of carbon. The Cruiser Oil is reasonably cost-effective ($55/10litre) and it definitely improved oil pressure (light goes out almost immediately on start-up which tends to indicate low viscosity despite my previous comment). Overall, I think any improvement in performance is marginal at best - will probably try Castrol Delo 400 next.

One definite win was putting synthetic oil in gearbox - expensive, but change intervals are greater and it definitely improves the shift...
