I have seen some 4WD with flective window shades fitted inside the rear to keep heat out. They were attached by means of suction cups.
Can anyone tell me where they get them from or the brand name?

Ive bought the suction type and found thay fall off. Go to a hydroponic
shop and purchase some astrofoil. It has silver foil on the outside, bubble wrap in the centre and white plastic on the inside. Measures about 5mm thick and 1.3 metres wide @ $9 per metre. You can cut it to cover all your window or windows without any light coming in. Its also a cheaper option. To keep the shade up purchase some adhesive velcro from a harware or fabric store.

Best thing to do is to stop the heat before it gets in. Buy some alfoil and put it on the outside of your windows.
You'll have the best looking spaceship around LMAO

Thanks for
the tip, but I'm not sure how long it would last with the wind.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE ALFOIL ON GLASS. As a window cleaner I can tell you it will etch into the glass after a while and will be a bastard to clean off (If it comes off that is)

No worries, I have no intention of using any such thing. We have window Sox on the back door and even they cause some scratching. I want a solution that is inside the car.

This may not help much but anyway. If you are referring to foil shades that are particularly designed for that vehicle and look to be fatter than the normal sun shade. I have only seen these once ( unfortunately I dont know the person I just asked how much and where they got them) They are apparently made and sold in Queensland ( where I dont know) and from memory cost something like $400-$700 or so. Its a big state I know, but good luck. If I find out anymore I will post it on the
forum.

Hi Wizard, I have a set for the rear of the cruiser and had them on 24/7 to help shade the fridge and keep eyes off the fridge. They came from Qld as stated above and were advertised in 4 x 4 monthly. I have taken them off after a visit from the boys in blue. If I didn't I was up for a yellow sticker(work order). They are very good and I will be using
mine on trips out of town.
Regards
Mark
