Hi all
I have just captured an hour or so film from the weekend. I loaded it onto my laptop for the first time and the pixle quailty is really bad. I am using windows movie maker, standard software. Any advice appreciated on fixing the quailty
Cheers Patrick

AAAH the meaning of life and other important video questions and answers.
There are many variables here which I have had no exposure to in your situation.
The big one in my mind is the the resolution (320*240) type settings, if you grab the raw data and load it into movie maker and expand the screen to get a good view then this resolution will pixelate like anything yet properly processed to DVD or other format for display on TV etc will be fine at this resolution.
Are you sure of this environment and is the MS Movie make the best for your needs.
This is gunna take lots of reading and time till you get it right and then its a piece of cake.
Concentrate on the resolution.
Regards
Russell

Your first problem is "Windows movie maker" don't use it and get something better, alot of them are downloadable off the net, we use Pro Show Gold great progam good quality, DVD quality, see if you can find it, it's
well worth it.
