Anybody heard of/used these PDA's with the inbuilt GPS???? They are here if you want to check 'em out. I am interested in anyones comments, preferably if you have used them or know someone who has used them.

Hi Brian,
They look pretty flash eh!? I like the 3D orientation of the maps it brags about.
I would be hoping that the maps also include all your topographical type maps that you can load into it.
It appears to be very orientated towards street directories and not the bush - I may be wrong. Going by the still shots.
I'll keep monitoring your post out of interest anyway.

Just so I get this right in my head..... you say it's tricky to install topographic maps, but it can be done... are the topo maps expensive?? how dificult are they to install... I am not a computer guru, but not an idiot either, even if I do say so myself... :-)
Speed and compass programmes are downloadable????? yes yes I know they are wankfactor... ;-) but the day I need it will be the day I wished I was a wanker earlier!!!! :-))
