I own a '98 Jackeroo SE and it's to good to trash in the bush. So I'd like to get a cheap Suzuki Sierra and modify it to use as a hack. I intend to weld a roll cage over the whole body and modify the
suspension. If any one has built a hack like this and has any tips would be a great help.
Thanks The Jack
P.S. I'm from W.A.

Jack,
There's a couple of cheap Rangies in the Quokka at the moment, might be worth a look........ Great fun, go anywhere truck loads of bits and pieces you can buy, give it some thought.

G'day
I've got a 92 Sierra at the moment (see pic 2 of my rig pics), they are an awesome little bus, I haven't gone too hardcore with
mine, just a 2" lift and 30x9.5 BFG AT. They are perfect for what you want it for, I was going to set it up as a tourer but one trip to the flinders was enough for me (just too noisy at 100kph). This is why I'm selling it and it would be worth a look if you were in SA.
There is heaps of info on the net about these trucks. They go under a few different name's overseas but the main one to look for is a Suzuki Samurai.
SuziSport & SuziWest are good aussie sites for info and parts.
Hope this has helped.
