hi all,
i was bleeding the brakes today, got the first one done no worries, however when i got to the 2nd one (right hand rear) i noticed that the bleeder valve has completely snapped off and what remains is stuck inside the hole.i have been told that i will need a near brake cylinder,my only question is how do i take the old cylinder off? the bloke at brake
shop says that there are only two nuts holding it in,but are there any other bits that need to come off? springs, pads etc....
thanks very much
rob

Normally you will have the pressure of the brake shoes nestled against them....
I think there would be a chance to coax the cylinder past them.....
