Hey Truckster,
I've got a Tx4400 GME UHF. I bought it before you could programme the extra frequencies using the front panel buttons.
Do you (or anyone else) know what is needed and how to change these recieve only frequencies?
Is it done by using a cable (plugging in to ???) and software?
Thanks.

cable and software apparantly. I would give GME a call to see if you can get a firmware upgrade for the early model 4400's. I assume you'd have to take the cover off to expose a pc connector to download the firmware.

Thanks Leroy.
I just sent GME an email asking exactly that (firmware upgrade).
Would love to be able to programme my own.
Mine were set when I bought it to Police channels but they are now digital.
Will let people know the results.
