Extra bench seats in troopy

Hi Brett and Miki,

I don't think you would be able to fit an "across the back" bench seat as you would find access next to impossible. You could however fit the rear pair of the bench seats from an 11 seater behind the middle seat and the bolt holes should be there already. Got some for sale if you need them.

It may be possible, but you will need to seek the advice of an automotive engineer at the very least. A friend of mine many years ago installed a bench seat in his Troop Carrier and needed to jump through quite a few hoops. Lap sash seat belts were certainly a minimum. He had it done through an aftermarket seating supplier from memory, so they provided the necessary engineering certification. If it hasn't been done before, you're likely to be up for quite some costs, if it can be done legally at all.

i had a troopy and qld transport . witha 11 seater they wouldn't to charge me bus
rego ...
so i pulled out the extra seat ..... ( 8 seater)
i also have the seat that i pulled out if you need one
