I'm going to hate myself for this as I can see some of the replies already, but seriously my 3Lgu TD has developed an annoying oil leak on the rear lefthand (passengers) side of the engine, it started about a week after I got it back after the injector pump problems were fixed. I have checked the rocker cover and there is no signs of a leak. Anyone got any thoughts? Apart from keeping the oil and changing the engine.
Cheers
Mike

You'll need to do a closer check to determine exactly where the oil is coming from (it may not be a leak), as that side of the engine has the oil filter, turbo and oil cooler. It could simply be oil dripping from the oil filter spill tray , if the filter was changed at the time of the repair. Just get under the vehicle with a torch and find out exactly where the oil is coming from. I thought that I had a similar problem once as
well, but it was nothing more than oil that had remained in the spill tray after a service.

I had oil all over that area some time ago. After a million horrible thoughts had gone through my head and I'd replayed my response to every possible excuse I thought I might get from Missan, turns out it was a loose clamp on one of the hoses at the turbo. Just a personal experience.
