hey kids!
having recently aquired a 91 terrano,i am curios to know if anyone in oz has fitted theirs out with a lift kit. this seems to be a prevailing factor on the yankee websites for pathfinders {i assume the suspension set up is the same } and coupled with o/size wheels and tyres appears to give a goodly amount of clearance.
does anyone know the deal/pricing/downside.fill me in.
be loose and lively.

I hope you have checked out www.4x4parts.com already, if you haven't this is the place to goto for all of the info you will need for you Terrano. Do a search in their disscussion boards. And 99% of Pathfinder parts will fit a Terrano (all it was is a name change).

How does the donk handle the higher gearing through the tall wheels.
I changed my tyres to 31 x 10½ x 15 (from the 235's) and the higher gearing has knocked the top gear performance and fuel economy around.
I used to get 10 L/100 loaded up on a trip but am lucky to get 12½ now for the same trip.
I'm thinking that an intercooler might help my 2½" straight through exhaust system cope with the slightly taller wheels on my '92 model.
What do you reckon?
Cheers
Oskar

Gday Oskar
Yeah it struggles abit on the hills but i can live with it for now i'm am currently fabbing up an adapter kit to put a v8 in it coupled up to the original auto and transfer case which will cure my power problems mainly the lack of it as for the inter cooler i dont think it would help all that much an intercooler will only really help if you want to increase your turbo boost pressure.dont get me wrong it will help the performance a little but the only real way to compensate for wheel change is regearing and thats costly.but you shouldn't really need to with 31's when you start going 32's and up i would consider regearing.anyway thats only my opinion have you checked out any other nissan forums for your answer to your question.there are a few good ones around.
cheers tony
