For all of you who are visiting the
Flinders Ranges region over the next three weeks, take time out to view the 'Painters of the
Flinders Ranges' Painting Exhibition at
the Woolshed, Wilpena Resort. There are 14 artists displaying their craft. Richard Smith,
well known aviator and owner of various food brands (aka Dick Smith) will be opening the exhibition on Saturday evening.
The annual
Hawker Exhibition is also on at the same time and it is
well worth a visit. Another worthwhile place to visit is the Panaroma Gallery at
Hawker. Geoff
Morgan has painted a circular
mural of
Wilpena Pound.

Willie,
Wish we were going there and could catch up. Have spoken with our other dinner guests from the other night to say how much they enjoyed all the company too, "such interesting people".
Reckon there will be a few of the family up that way in the next year but not unfortunately during the exhibition.
Cheers mates....
