Lake mountain would be good.

Snow Cover Good snowplay and sightseeing on a softening cover of snow.
Tobogganing: poor tobogganing on a fair cover of softening snow, toboggan run one only open.

Hi CJ

Mt Baw Baw might be an option, about 1.5 hours from Melbourne http://www.mountbawbaw.com.au.

Thanks guys, I was considering Lake Mountain but hadn't thought about Baw Baw. Sunday I'm heading for Mt Skene via Mt Useful and maybe back out to Licola. Weathers looking good for a nice weekend.
