Hope someone can help me here
I am looking at getting a Milford cargo barrier for my challenger.
I mainly want to use it when i have the back seats down.
Here is my question
How close does the barrier sit to the folded down back
seat?
The salesman said it sit hard up against the
seat but i don't trust salesmen
can anybody tell me how close it does sit and if possible a measurement from the barrier to the tail-
gate
Cheers
Tim

I have a milford barrier in my challenger and for once the sales man is correct - the barrier sits pretty hard up against the rear seats that have been folded down (mind you I usually have the seats out when the barrier is in). I happen to be putting the barrier in tomorrow, so I will get a measurement for you. My barrier actually touches the roof when the back has nothing in it, but the seats compress abit with some load and the barrier moves down off the roof. One other thing that I am a bit disappointed in is that the head rest can not go all the way up on the front seats with the barrier in and my head would hit the barrier in the event of an accident (I am 6'4" though - but anyone around 6' would have a similar issue). I have cable-tied some high density foam behind both seats to give some protection.
Hope this helps
Tim

Sorry, I must be one of the few without a digital camera. I have however taken some measurements.
The back of the barrier is 1610mm from the back of the raised floor and is 20mm thick. This
places the front of the barrier about 20mm from the front of the folded down rear
seat back. The barrier then goes straight up for about 500mm, then kicks forward for 350mm. The top of the barrier ends up about 200mm infront of the bottom vertical section. If all this soes not make sense, I can try a diagram.

Green Man
The barrier sits behind the back
seat base which has been folded up and pretty much hard up against it.
