I have been searching everywhere for a workshop manual for the SWB Toyota Landcruiser 3.5 diesel (1PZ). Is there such a beastie or is there an add in engine section to the standard 70 series manual (assuming that everything else is similar)

The 1PZ is identical to the 1HZ apart from that missing cylinder so the normal manual would apply.
Toyota usually has one manual for the engine and one for the body/transmission/running gear.
A
gregory's manual for the same vintage should cover your truck and engine.

I think the Max Ellery Landcruiser Diesel manual includes the 1PZ engine. Not a great manual, but better than nothing

here is a link to a site that has toyota workshop manuals that you can down load if u like.
they are big files so if you dont have cable or adsl start the down load in the evening and in the morning you should have it.
has been of great assistance to me and hope you find the one that suits your needs.

The manual you're after is the 1PZ, 1HZ, 1HD-T engine manual (covers all of these). It's unlikely Toy' still stiock these but you might be lucky.
