Off to Birdsville tomorrow, Uncle and I.....joining up with another mate for a look around the K1 line, Rig road and then back to Birdsville. From there down through Walkers Crossing to Innamincka and Coongie and then back home along the Stresz.

Going to try out all the goodies I managed to fit to the truck in the past couple of weeks. Roofrack, Snorkel,Arb winch+Brawn 9500, 5 Cooper STT's on steel rims, lambswool seat covers, flash HD rubber floormats, new campstove, cheap shower, collapsible buckets, spare hoses, belts, filters, Battery bracket, Century Overlander 700cca Main battery and Yuasa Overlander 700cca aux. etc etc.

Didn't get around to fitting the aux fuel tank and am carrying extra fuel against my principle on the roofrack. Stiil need to upgrade the springs as fully laden Ruby has a bit of a rear end sag. That will have to wait till later.

Willie,

Great trip mate I guess you will not read these before you go but look forward to seeing a pic of Ruby complete with wog pole and flags. I know she looks a picture already even if the bum is a little close to the road.

Enjoy your trip and please say helloo to Ruth and Ian from us folks won't you.
