Has anyone shifted the aux fuel filler in a GU patrol ute to another location to allow an undertray/guard box to be fitted??? Were did you shift it to? I've heard of some people moving it close to the main tank filler and having dramas with slow filling due to the small fall in the line.

In many setups theres just enuff room between cab and tray as tray isusually a fair bit wider. This allows the needed fall to the tank and fast filling.
I did move it to the back of the wheel arch, same as main tank, on one of my utes and it was a problem till I sold it. Inlet on the Sub tank on utes are very high, unlike wagons.
Keep air relief hose up as high as possible too. It must be above filler and slope downwards so fuel cant be trapped and block it
I also ran through the tool box on another ute too, just had recesed hole larger than cap, Cap ended up flush with outer edge of toolbox. Behind square toolbox door in angle infront of wheel arch, once air relief problem sorted it worked OK. Lot of frigging to make up recess however.
