Hi
Does anyone have any info on the 1994 diesel (not turbo) 1HZ- 4.2 ltr 6 cyl Landcruiser Troopy - HZJ75RV - ? for example:
what kind of fuel consumption I could expect on/off road?
how reliable it might be as a vehicle for use on a trip including Nth WA?
Any prob's it might be known to have and to look out for?

Thanks a lot
Kate

1HZ75 4.2ltr non turbo . Fraser island trip (1000klms return)(half sand driving & half highway driving) used 120 ltrs . Usually around town i average up to 450klms per 70 ltr tank . I would think that in WA that landcruiser parts would be the easiest to get . Someone else will have to answer the mechanical side of it .

Hi serferoz,
Just picked up one of these little beauties ourselves, VERY HAPPY with it. Hubby just took it for a run to Roma and got 9klm to the litre (on road)! We were warned just to be aware of them being top heavy, and to check shockies, brakes, injectors, etc, make sure all has been regularly serviced and they should be pretty indestructable!!! Top car to take anywhere.....
